Climate Finance Academy Team

The Climate Finance Academy started during corona time when academics met in the coffee corner and started discussing the need to bridge the gap between climate studies and the financial sector.

Since then, efforts have been put to start this network by contacting potential partners, selecting top talents nd developing new projects.

Research interest: economic impacts and risks of climate change.

Full Professor of Climate Extremes & Societal Risk at the Department of Water and Climate Risks (IVM).

Senior Scientist Extreme Weather & Climate Change at KNMI.

Research interest: global warming and extreme weather events.
